The North Sonar Foil Edition (Aluminium) is a modular hydrofoil system built for kite, wing, surf and tow foiling. The refined aluminium mast profile delivers an optimal balance between light weight and exceptional strength, and the unique GeoLock tapered geometry locking system provides an effective, load-bearing connection between the mast and fuselage for a clean, direct feel with minimum resistance.

Size and Specs

• AF85 Mast (this edition): performs across all disciplines, offers more ride height to clear waves or heel over for tighter turns, and is more forgiving in rougher conditions
• AF72 Mast (alternative option): ideal for shallower waters and prone surf foiling

Performance

Built for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio with a clean, direct feel and minimum resistance. The longer 700mm fuselage improves stability and delays the pitching moment, giving you more time to react, while the AF85 mast adds ride height and forgiveness in chop.
