The Ultra-X material upgrades are lighter in weight and make the kite stiffer throughout, for higher levels of engagement and control.

The new Aluula airframe provides the increased stiffness, especially in the tips, which can really be appreciated in gusty winds. With less deformation of the airframe in challenging conditions, the canopy remains tight and under tension for longer, resulting in a smoother ride with more control at your fingertips.
The Ultra-X Aluula airframe material weighs 82g per m², which is just over half the weight of standard dacron.
True weight saving advantages continue in the performance canopy material, which weighs 46g, compared to the 55g sail cloth used in the standard construction Enduro V5.
The Enduro V5 Ultra-X leaves our factory on average 17% lighter than the standard V5 model. When you consider all our kites are naturally Born Light, these are large gains and each percentage point weight saving translates powerfully into the super-tuned Ultra-X design.
The exotic performance materials in the Enduro V5 Ultra-X add to the production cost, so this model has a higher price, but the reward is increased speed, more low-end power alongside top end control and greater feedback.
You should also note that, like a performance carbon road bike, the Ultra-X model needs just a bit more care to not scuff the material on the beach, as it’s more susceptible to careless abrasion.

Built with a double rip-stop material that is 17% lighter than conventional canopy, with an advanced coating to maintain strength, rigidity and durability. The reduction in weight translates to true performance advantages.
Each Leading Edge segment is curved to form a perfect smooth arc from tip to tip as opposed to straight segments with angled joints. Transverse Sail Shaping perfectly matches the Continuous Curve Leading Edge. These latest design features reduce parasitic drag and create a cleaner surface at the most important area of the airfoil. The result is less turbulent airflow, which positively affects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance.

NO pulleys, NO problems. We design all our inflatable kites without pulleys, to inherit the unique Ozone feeling and performance across our range.
Our bladders are constructed in-house with advanced custom built welding machines. Double layered sections are applied to any potential wear areas.
